The Israeli Innovation Center is set to open in 2018.
The National Israeli Innovation Center - President Shimon Peres' flagship initiative - was launched in July 2016 and is set to open in 2018. It will be a visitors' center and hub attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors from Israel and around the world. Visitors will learn the extraordinary story of how Israel came to be on the cutting edge of innovation the world over, and will be inspired and empowered to become positive agents of change. This hub will become an integral part of the many innovative activities focusing on promoting shared-living, peace, and closing social gaps that the Peres Center has developed and implemented over the last 20 years.
The Ninth President Peres, who led the Peres Center for Peace's vision, believed that, in order to continue moving Israel forward and maintaining its edge as a powerhouse and global leader in innovation, along with utilizing technology to reduce social gaps, save lives, and promote peace and "Tikkum Olam", it is imparative to educate future generations to think outside the box with creativity and courage.
As our founder President Peres stated, "The new world of science and knowledge calls you to forget the partitions; to forget the prejudices; to embark with courage, hope and knowledge and bring us to a new era of hope and understanding."
