Project Aim

This peace education program for children – Jewish, Arab, Palestinian and Israeli - utilize visual arts to teach values of respect, mutual understanding and tolerance.

How it Works

Children aged 8-12 participate in workshops based on an international traveling exhibition of the "Museum on the Seam" which fosters messages of respect for 'the other', human rights and liberties, respectful communication, and rejection of violence as a solution to problems. Children are encouraged to express their feelings about coexistence and acceptance of others through the creation of their own personal artwork which they present to the group, complemented by a moderated discussion about these values. This project is supported by IRESPECTU.
