Import-Export Training Program

Project Aim

The project aimed to ease trade between Israel and the West Bank by providing Palestinian contractors, traders, and financial managers in the import-export industry with vital information and skills to strengthen their business capacities and assist in conduct of cross-border business operations.

How It Works

The project consisted of a series of capacity building workshops for Palestinian contractors in the import-export industry, which served to increase their knowledge and expertise. The project enabled more efficient and effective working relations with Israeli authorities and enhanced mechanisms in Palestinian trade with international partners. The project also facilitated productive and professionally structured personal encounters between Palestinians and Israelis in the same industry, generating greater trust in Palestinian-Israeli business relations.

This project was supported by the Diane and Guilford Glazer Foundation.
