International Outreach

Project Aim

In order to raise the profile of sport as a tool for peacebuilding, this project involves appointing leading sports people from around the world as ambassadors of sport in the service of peace, who assist in spreading the word of the power of sport as a tool for bridging communities. By participating in international sports conferences and delegations and participating in exhibition peace matches in various countries, we promote the Peres Center's sports projects inernationally and raise awareness. Exhibition matches are played between professional football teams and "peace teams" comprised of Israeli and Palestinian players.
